Our Story

“Your first 1,000 photographs are your worst.”

– Henri Cartier-Bresson

The Sunrise

We are a team of passionate photographers, united by a profound love for nature and an insatiable desire to capture its myriad wonders on film.

Our origin story is tied to a breathtaking mountain morning sunrise. As the first rays of sunlight pierced through the dew-kissed air and painted the sky with hues of gold and crimson, we found our true calling – photography.

With hearts full of awe, we watched as the world came to life with the sunrise, and in that moment, a love for photography was kindled within us.

The event was nothing short of magical, the way the first rays of light danced off the dew-kissed leaves, illuminating the world with a soft, warm glow. The moment was so profound that it stirred within us the need to capture and share the beauty we witnessed.

The Waterfall

The very next day, our journey led us next to a mesmerizing waterfall, where we marveled at the powerful display of nature’s forces at work.

The rush of water cascading down, the rhythmic sound it created, and the cool misty breeze that enveloped the surroundings was a spectacle we felt compelled to document.

The waterfall’s thundering roar, the cool mist in the air, and the relentless flow of water, all captured in a still image, spoke volumes about the transient and yet eternal nature of the world around us.

The power and serenity of nature were in perfect harmony, leaving us in awe and deepening our love for photography even more.

Since then, we have been dedicated to immortalizing these fleeting moments of raw natural beauty into timeless snapshots.

Friends

Our love for photography is not merely about the aesthetic appeal but deeply rooted in our admiration and respect for nature. Our passion for both photography and the natural world fuels our desire to share the beauty we encounter on our adventures with you.

We believe in telling enthralling stories through our lens – stories of the rustling leaves, the dancing shadows, the whispering wind, and the silent mountains.

In both cases, I used my phone to capture the moments. I was very excited about the pics that I had taken, and on the way home, my elder sister advised me to get a good DSLR camera.

As I was a novice, I needed to learn about camera gear. I did a bit of research and found that DSLRs are getting replaced by mirrorless cameras that are much smaller and more compact.

I was intrigued by this and started looking into mirrorless cameras instead of DSLRs and found that mirrorless are relatively new technology, but they are in the higher price range.

My Camera

I explored many brands such as Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Panasonic, Sony, etc. After comparing the features and prices, I finally decided to buy a Fujifilm X-T4 mirrorless camera, as it had all the features and perfectly fit into my budget.

Although I wanted to buy a Sony Alpha 7RIII due to budget constrain, I went for the X-T4. I told my elder sister that I was getting a Fujifilm mirrorless camera. She insisted on contributing, and that’s how I got my hands on a brand-new Sony Alpha.

As a novice photographer, the moment I laid my hands on the Sony Alpha 7R4 mirrorless camera, a wave of anticipation and thrill rushed through me.

The prospect of capturing the world through this advanced piece of technology was immensely exhilarating. Designed with an impressive 61.0 MP resolution, this camera has wholly revolutionized my photography experience.

About Me

I love all different kinds of photography, but I still consider myself a landscape photographer. Because I enjoy so many different types of photography, I haven’t pigeon-holed this website into just landscape photography.  I write about it all.

We invite you to join us on this incredible journey as we explore, discover, and capture the enchanting symphony of nature. Let’s celebrate the art of photography, the spirit of adventure, and the love of the great outdoors, one frame at a time.

“You don’t take a photograph, you make it.”

– Ansel Adams

My 5 Guiding Principles

1) Always photograph the things I love.  Never shoot for commercial gain alone.

2) Shoot more sunrises than sunsets – even in the summer

3) Don’t spend too much time editing my photos. Get outdoors as much as possible

4) Revisit locations. This is how I always get the best images.

5) Visit and photograph 3 new locations (maybe a county or country) every year

On a personal note...

I live in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.  I have an AMAZINGLY supportive father, mother, and 3 siblings.

Aside from my photography, I love playing badminton, playing Counter-Strike, exploring new places, and playing with Shadow. Shadow is my adorable Golden Retriever.
